About The CCIA
Gerard Velazquez, III
We are pleased to introduce you to The Cumberland County Improvement Authority (CCIA). The CCIA is a vital part of the community and is uniquely qualified to serve municipalities and the business community. The CCIA has the power to acquire, build and finance most public facilities including municipal buildings, educational facilities, emergency rescue training facilities and parks.
The CCIA is working in tandem with the Cumberland County Board of Chosen Freeholders to provide superior economic development, educational and recreational opportunities to the region. In partnership with the Cumberland County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the CCIA remains dedicated to providing new and growing economic development tools and opportunities to the residents and businesses of Cumberland County.
Through an aggressive and targeted program, CCIA is helping to develop Cumberland County into a magnetic and diverse business to the community while preserving the open space that has been such an integral part of Cumberland County’s culture and heritage. Working together, we strive to offer valuable services and enhance the quality of life for all residents. Although the programs we offer range from providing financing for major projects to operating a first-class Solid Waste Complex, our goal of providing outstanding and exceptional services and value remains constant in everything we do.
We invite you to explore everything we offer to make our community better for everyone. Take a look at all we do and let us know if you have any questions. If there is anything we can do to help improve the quality of life in Cumberland County, we will be there to help.
If you would like more information about the CCIA, its programs or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Our Mission: The Development, Financing and Integration of Projects, Strategies and Initiatives Integral to the Sustainability of the Economic and Environmental Future of the County.
